Carmen's Home Blessings
Create a home that feels clear, intentional, peaceful, and deeply YOURS!
A Home Blessing is a personalized energetic clearing and intention-setting experience for your space, inside and out. Whether you are moving into a newly built home, purchasing or renting a new space, preparing to welcome a baby, moving through a major life transition, or simply feeling that your home needs a reset, each blessing is created around the energy of the home and the people who live within it.
The intention is simple: clear what was, honor what is, and intentionally welcome what comes next.
What Is a Home Blessing?
A Home Blessing is an intentional energetic clearing and blessing of your home * inside and out * created to help the space feel lighter, calmer, more grounded, and aligned with the life you want to create there.
It can be meaningful for a newly built home, a home you’ve purchased or rented, a move after a major life transition, preparing to welcome a baby home, settling into a new chapter, or simply when your space feels like it needs a reset.
Each Home Blessing is personalized to the home and the people who live there. We begin by talking about what you’re feeling in the space, what you want to clear, and what you want to invite in.
The intention is to thoughtfully move through the home room by room... clearing what feels heavy or stagnant, blessing the space, and setting an intention for how you want the home to feel moving forward.
This may include energetic clearing, prayer, a spoken shamanic clearing blessing, sound, Reiki-informed practices, smoke or smoke-free cleansing, and intentional ritual.
The goal is not to make the home feel “perfect.” It is to help create a space that feels more settled, peaceful, intentional, and supportive of the people who live there.
What tools are used during a Home Blessing?
Each Home Blessing is personalized to the home, the people who live there, and the intention for the space.
Depending on your preferences and the needs of the home, I may use a combination of:
-
Kosher salt water for grounding, cleansing, and intentional clearing
-
Sage to help clear heavier or stagnant energy
-
Palo santo afterward to invite in a sweeter, lighter, more peaceful energy
-
Mugwort in bedrooms to support the intention of peaceful rest and sleep
-
Smoke-free clearing sprays made with sage and palo santo for homes where smoke is not preferred
-
Sound tools to help shift and settle the energy of the space
-
Reiki-informed energetic clearing
-
A shamanic energy-clearing blessing spoken intentionally in each room
-
Prayer and personalized intention-setting throughout the home
Smoke-free options are always available, and the blessing can be adapted around children, pets, sensitivities, pregnancy, or personal preference.
When Might You Choose a Home Blessing?
A Home Blessing can be beautiful for:
-
A newly built home
-
Purchasing or Selling a home
-
Moving into a rental
-
Moving after divorce, loss, or another major transition
-
Preparing a home before bringing a new baby home
-
Creating a fresh energetic beginning after baby arrives
-
Blending families
-
Beginning a new chapter in life
-
After a difficult season within the home
-
Simply feeling that your space needs to be cleared, grounded, and refreshed
You do not need to be experiencing something “negative” to have a Home Blessing. Sometimes the intention is simply to consciously say: "I'm ready to release anything that doesn't serve our highest good in this space and welcome in the highest light of love, joy and peace."
Each Home Blessing is customized to your space, your intentions, and the season of life you’re moving through. Depending on what feels appropriate for your home, the experience may include:
-
Energetic clearing inside and outside the home to intentionally move through each area of the property, including entryways, shared spaces, bedrooms, and outdoor areas when appropriate.
-
Kosher salt-water clearing used as a grounding and cleansing element throughout the space.
-
Sage clearing to help release heavier, stagnant, or lingering energy.
-
Palo santo afterward to intentionally invite in a sweeter, lighter, more peaceful energy once the clearing is complete.
-
Mugwort in bedrooms with the intention of creating a calm, restful atmosphere for sleep and restoration.
-
Smoke-free clearing options using sage and palo santo sprays for homes where burning herbs is not preferred.
-
A spoken shamanic energy-clearing blessing offered room by room, with prayer and intention tailored to the home.
-
Sound clearing using therapeutic sound tools to help mark the transition from clearing into grounding and settling.
-
Reiki-informed energetic work to support a sense of calm and intentionality within the space.
-
Personalized room intentions based on what you want to cultivate in different areas of the home, such as peace, protection, rest, connection, creativity, abundance, or a fresh start.
-
A closing blessing for the entire home to help anchor the intentions you want to carry forward.
I’d end it with:
No two Home Blessings are exactly alike. The experience is adapted to the home, the people who live there, and what you are hoping to release, honor, or welcome into the space.
